This adventure takes girls to Camp Foxtail for a day of fun where they can make new friends and check out life at camp! Girls will participate in the traditions of camp and have tons of fun with activities like camp songs, nature crafts, outdoor camp games, and a nature hike to Pooh Land!

Camp Foxtail

Camp Foxtail, located in the Toiyabe National Forest, provides Girl Scouts ages 8-17 with traditional resident camp experiences. Programs encourage leadership through activities such as hiking, biking, rock climbing, high and low adventure courses, singing, arts and crafts, and campfires. Girls must be a registered member of Girl Scouts to attend Camp Foxtail. Membership is $12 annually and can be purchased at the time of registration.
Camp Foxtail was established in 1949, and is a year-round Girl Scout camping facility operated under a special use permit with the U.S. Forest Service. The temperature at camp is cool at night and early morning, but can get to 85 degrees during the day in the summer months. Base camp is at 8500' with the highest unit at 9000'. Camp Foxtail is accredited by the American Camping Association.
